JD Crandall, Beverage Manager

 

JD has worked nearly 20 years in the service industry holding various positions from dish washer to General Manager. Over 10 years of that has been spent heavily involved with the craft beer industry in nearly every facet. As a Bar Manager, he was responsible for maintaining ever evolving draft lists at a very reputable craft only beer bar. His involvement in the craft beer community does not stop in the restaurant and bar room. He has spent the past 2 years serving as an Assistant Brewer and Cellarman at Relic Brewing, a local Connecticut nanobrewery. As a homebrewer of nearly 10 years, JD has a deep seeded passion for the industry and has had the great fortune of brewing his own unique recipes at Thomas Hooker and Sierra Nevada Breweries. Currently, he serves as the Beverage Manager for McLadden's Restaurant Group where he oversees and orchestrates the beverage program for all locations maintaining nearly 300 draft lines and the largest collection of brown spirits around.
